Privacy Policy
Effective October 21, 2026
Who we are
Crusonia (crusonia.io) is a private, invitation-only market-intelligence platform operated by iSelect Fund Management, LLC (iSelect). It helps an invited network of investors, founders, and domain experts share and make sense of information about the transition to a health-first food system. For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact iSelect.
What this policy covers. Crusonia and the sites and apps that use your Crusonia account or are operated as part of it: crusonia.io; the investor portal at my.crusonia.io; portfolio.crusonia.io; investor applications at invest.crusonia.io; Operation Healthy Harvest at healthyharvest.io; the Crusonia mobile app; and the Wilson desktop app. System C (system-c.io) has its own privacy policy, which follows the same practices.
No marketing sharing. Mobile phone numbers, other mobile information, text messaging originator opt-in data, and SMS consent are never shared, sold, rented, or provided to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No sharing provision in this policy permits this information to be used for third-party or affiliate marketing or promotion. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own use.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, and profile details you provide. Authentication is handled by our sign-in provider (Clerk).
Content you contribute. Documents, notes, meeting debriefs, and other material you deliberately upload or submit to the platform.
Requests and applications. What you send through our forms, such as a request for access to Operation Healthy Harvest or an investor application (see Investor applications).
Linked accounts. If you choose to link an external account (see the next section), the data you have scoped that link to.
Usage information. Standard logs and product-usage data (pages visited, features used) to operate and improve the platform. We use Google Analytics to count visits to public pages. Account, portfolio, and invitation-link pages are not included, and invitation tokens are not sent to Google.
Linked accounts: email, calendar, files, and recorders
You can choose to link your own Google or Microsoft 365 account, and your own meeting recorder, note-taking, or scheduling accounts (Granola, Zoom, Plaud, and Calendly). Linking always starts from your account settings, you decide what each link covers, and you can unlink at any time.
- Email (Gmail or Outlook). We read the messages your filters allow (a single label or folder, specific senders, excluded senders or domains, and a history limit of 30 days unless you change it) and save copies in your private workspace. By default we read headers only: subject, sender, recipients, date, and labels. We read message bodies only if you switch that account to full messages, or for a specific email you choose to attach to a meeting.
- How we use your email. To fill your private inbox; to suggest an email address for a person you add to your research, by searching your own message headers without storing the results; and to write private research notes, visible only to you, about people and companies you research, from a few recent matching messages.
- Gmail drafts. If you turn on drafting, we can create drafts in your Gmail for outreach you write and review. We never send email from your account; you send it from Gmail.
- Calendar. We copy event details (title, time, attendees, and location) from two weeks back to one week ahead, to remind you to debrief your own meetings. Calendar events are not added to the shared knowledge base.
- Files. With Google Drive, we can open only the specific files you pick in Google's file picker, and we add them where you choose, such as a Cell's documents, which that Cell's members can see. With Microsoft OneDrive, if you link files, we import your recently used files into your private inbox and extract their text so you can search it.
- Recorders and note-takers. Recordings, transcripts, and notes from the Granola, Zoom, or Plaud account you connect arrive in your private inbox. Calendly bookings you connect (who booked, when, and their booking-form answers) appear on your calendar.
- Private unless you share. Imported items are visible only to you. Nothing reaches other members or the shared knowledge base unless you contribute a specific item.
- Unlinking. Unlinking stops access immediately and deletes the stored credentials and mirrored calendar events. For Google we also ask Google to revoke our access; if Google does not confirm, we tell you how to remove Crusonia in your Google Account. Microsoft access can also be removed from your Microsoft account settings. When you unlink a Google or Microsoft account you can choose to delete what we imported from it; otherwise imported items stay in your private workspace until you discard them.
- Discarded items. Research notes built from an email are deleted as soon as you discard that email. A discarded item's content, private file copy, and search index are permanently deleted 30 days after you discard it. We keep only the item's message or file identifier, so a later sync does not import it again.
Google user data: Limited Use
Crusonia's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The use of information received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google user data is used only to provide and improve the features described above. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never transferred to others except as needed to provide features you request (including to the AI providers named below, which process it on our behalf), for security, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition. People do not read it except with your permission for specific messages, where necessary for security or abuse investigation, or to comply with applicable law.
No AI training. We do not use data from Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models, and we do not allow our AI providers to do so. This holds even if you consent to other uses of your content.
The same commitments apply to data we receive from Microsoft and from the recorder, note-taking, and scheduling accounts you connect.
How we use information
We use your information to operate the platform: building your private workspace, generating the intelligence features you use, and connecting members of the network. Content you contribute or confirm, and content from accounts you link when you use a feature that needs it, may be processed by AI models to produce summaries, classifications, search, and insights within the platform. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
AI processing and training choices
Depending on the feature and model selected, AI providers may include OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. They process the content you submit, and content imported from accounts you link when you use a feature that needs it, to produce the results you request: summaries, search, private research notes, transcription, and assistant responses. They process it on our behalf, not for their own purposes.
We do not use your content to train or improve general-purpose AI models without your separate, affirmative consent, and we do not authorize our providers to do so without the same consent. Using an AI feature or accepting these terms is not that consent. Data from linked Google accounts is never used for model training, even with consent (see Google user data: Limited Use), and the same restriction applies to linked Microsoft and recorder accounts.
Investor applications (invest.crusonia.io)
invest.crusonia.io presents investment opportunities in funds such as iSelect General and FIH Strategic. When you apply, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company and title, the basis on which you qualify as an accredited investor and the income or net-worth range you select, your investment experience and intended investment size, whether you work with a financial advisor, how you heard about us, and the IP address and browser information sent with your application.
We use this information to review your eligibility, contact you about the opportunity, keep the records that securities rules require, and understand which outreach reached you. We keep application records as long as needed for these purposes and as long as the law requires. If you invest, the fund's offering and subscription documents also apply.
On invest.crusonia.io we set first-party cookies that remember the campaign link that brought you (such as its UTM parameters), record page views with your IP address and browser information to measure interest in each opportunity, and use Google Analytics on public pages only, with ad personalization and Google signals turned off. Questions you type into the FAQ assistant are answered by Anthropic's AI service on our behalf, and application emails are sent through our email provider, Resend.
The Crusonia mobile app
The Crusonia app for iPhone and Android uses your Crusonia account and asks for each permission only when you use the feature that needs it:
- Camera and photos to capture or attach photos and documents. A photo of a conference badge is read to suggest the contact details printed on it; you confirm them before they are saved to a person's record.
- Microphone to record meetings and voice notes, including in the background during a recording you started. Recordings stay on your phone until they upload to your private workspace, where AssemblyAI transcribes them on our behalf.
- Face ID or fingerprint to protect a password you choose to save. The saved password stays in your phone's secure storage and is used only to sign you in.
- Notifications: if you allow them, we store a notification token for your device (delivered through Apple, or Google Firebase on Android) with your app version and platform.
- Sharing to Crusonia: items you share into the app from other apps go to your private inbox.
With your permission, which is on by default and can be turned off under Notifications and diagnostics in the app, the app sends usage counts (features used, success or failure, app version, and platform) and technical crash reports through Sentry. Recordings, transcripts, images, and personal details are excluded, and session replay is disabled.
The Wilson desktop app
Wilson for Mac and Windows records meetings you choose to record. Depending on your setting, it asks you when a meeting starts, waits until you click Record, or records automatically; only turn on automatic recording when you have permission to record.
- Recording uses Recall.ai's desktop recording service, which captures the meeting's audio and screen on your computer and processes them on our behalf. Transcripts are produced by Recall.ai or AssemblyAI, as chosen in Wilson's preferences, and can include calendar words you select to improve accuracy.
- Wilson sends Crusonia the meeting's calendar details (title, time, and invitees), the recording's details, and names you give speakers, so the recording and transcript arrive in your private Inbox.
- Your sign-in and recording history are stored on your computer with your operating system's encryption. Wilson includes no advertising or analytics tracking.
- Other people in a meeting you record are recorded too. You are responsible for telling them and for obtaining any consent the law requires.
Event recordings
Events support collective intelligence: attendees share information and insights with the attendee network. Unless an event notice explicitly states otherwise, events are recorded, and recordings, transcripts, and summaries may be made available to attendees for that purpose. These recordings are not intended for public distribution or promotion under this notice.
You can ask iSelect before or during an event to exclude your identifiable participation from recording or attendee distribution. We will make reasonable efforts to honor your request, including editing material where practicable, but cannot guarantee removal of information other attendees have already heard or independently retained. If you do not want information shared with the attendee network, do not contribute it or participate in the affected session. Contact us beforehand about participation arrangements. Existing confidentiality restrictions still apply, and this notice does not replace separate consent required by law.
How we share information
Content you explicitly contribute to the shared knowledge base is visible to other authorized members according to the platform's access controls. We use service providers (such as hosting and AI processing) under confidentiality obligations to run the platform. We may disclose information if required by law.
These general sharing provisions never permit sharing mobile phone numbers, other mobile information, or text messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. You may choose to share a phone number with authorized members through profile visibility or an accepted connection. This member sharing does not include text messaging opt-in data or consent. Limited disclosures of messaging opt-in data and consent to service providers acting on our behalf and when required by law are described below.
Text messaging privacy (SMS and MMS)
Consent and purpose. If you opt in to text messages from iSelect Fund through Crusonia, we use your mobile number to send the types of messages described when you opt in, such as account notifications, service alerts, or responses to your requests. This program does not send marketing or promotional texts. Providing a phone number alone or accepting the general terms does not enroll you. SMS enrollment is optional and is not a condition of purchase or event attendance.
Information we collect and use. We may collect your mobile number, the content of messages you send or receive, message timestamps and delivery status, and records of your opt-in and opt-out choices. We use this information to deliver messages, respond to you, troubleshoot delivery, prevent abuse, and honor your messaging preferences.
Message delivery providers. We disclose only the information needed by service providers that help us operate our messaging program, such as Twilio and mobile carriers, to deliver messages and support the service on our behalf. This does not authorize those providers to use your mobile information or consent for their own marketing. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Your choices. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to the number that sent the message. You may receive a final message confirming your opt-out. Reply HELP for assistance. To request removal from our messaging list, email curious@iselectfund.com. Message frequency varies based on the program and your interactions. Message and data rates may apply. See our SMS Terms.
Retention. We retain messaging information only as long as needed to provide the service, resolve issues, and meet legal obligations. We may retain consent and opt-out records to document your choices and prevent unwanted messages after you unsubscribe. You can request deletion using the contact information below.
For privacy questions or complaints about text messaging, contact iSelect.
Retention and deletion
We retain private information as needed to provide your account and the features you request. When you request account or private-data deletion, we delete the private content covered by your request, including associated derived summaries, except where retention is required by law. We may retain limited contact information and account-reference history necessary to document your account, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or honor consent and opt-out choices. This exception does not permit keeping unrelated private documents, conversations, or linked-account content indefinitely. Retained records are restricted to these purposes and kept only as long as needed or legally required. To request deletion or ask what records must be retained, emailcurious@iselectfund.com.
Reasons for processing
Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, we process information to provide the services you request, meet legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the service, subject to your rights. We rely on consent where required, including for optional text enrollment and any broader AI training. We do not treat acceptance of the general terms as consent to those optional uses.
Your privacy rights and choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing curious@iselectfund.com. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to receive a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, appeal a request decision, and complain to your local privacy regulator. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We do not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. Withdrawing consent does not affect lawful processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Browser settings let you control cookies, though blocking essential cookies may affect sign-in and other features. Cookies used for authentication and security serve different purposes from optional analytics. Contact us for information about the cookies and analytics used by the service.
International users
Our services are available to adults in the United States and other countries. Information may be processed in the United States and in countries where our service providers operate. Privacy protections can differ between countries. Your use of the service does not waive rights or protections provided by applicable local law. Contact us with questions about processing locations or international transfers.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Credentials for accounts you link are encrypted before we store them, and private files are kept in private storage that is encrypted at rest and not publicly reachable. Access inside the platform is governed by a need-to-know access model: sensitive intelligence is compartmented, and linked-account data is scoped to your own workspace. Access to operational systems is restricted to authorized staff. No transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy as the platform evolves; material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
